Paul's Report

First, many thanks for taking part in this year's Club Championship, and for playing all your games and reporting your results in good time.

I think that last night was a fitting end to the tournament with all 18 players attending. The results are as follows:

The winner of the Club Championship, with a final tally of 4.5 points, is Tom Penna. Congratulations, Tom. Congratulations also to Bill Bolton, the winner of the U1600 trophy with a score of 2.5 points. As always, the trophies will be presented during the AGM in September.

Everyone who competed is in the running for the Armstrong Cup. However, you are all very welcome to boost your chances of winning by arranging to play extra Armstrong matches between now and the deadline of Tuesday, 25th August.
